Chrome wont save my settings

Cant turn safesearch off I am going to the settings page, trying to turn safe search off and it wont save the setting.it saved my new location but wont save my search preferencesany ideas I've removed the virus off my computer but my chrome browser wont stop doing the mobility-search.com redirect and its frustrating, ive tried resetting the settings on the chrome browser

If it does, try to reinstall like uninstall the driver, then see if your internet works. IE won't connect to internet, but Chrome is working fine. It may not display this or other websites correctly.You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. #1 alright maybe not never, but barely ever.When i used to use it in FF it would sync by itself sometimes, and then ALWAYS sync when i shut down firefox. I set it up last night and it did the initial sync at 3am, have browsed and bookmarked some after that, then i woke up and have been browsing and bookmarking today. Still hasnt synced again yet. Can i set it up so it works like firefox?Is there anything else i can use besides x-marks that does a better job, ive been using it for a while now but i might give something else a shot. #2 For some reason in Chrome, "Automatically Sync" is not enabled by default. Go into the xMarks settings and under the sync tab, check the automatically sync box. That did the trick for me. But, it looks like a really dumb thing NOT to use that as default.-chronodekar #4 For some reason in Chrome, "Automatically Sync" is not enabled by default. I agree though it is pretty stupid that this isnt automatically enabled.It still doesnt sync as much as id like to to though. For example what if i bookmark something and then immediately close my browser. Then ill go on my laptop only to find that my bookmarks werent synced and i wont be able to find it.Also on top of that, how will xmarks handle the next sync if i then bookmarkedComments
