Its head is equipped with a massive energy beam that will destroy anything it comes in contact with - avoid this at all costs by staying beneath or behind the Scarab. However, like the Death Star, it has a glaring weakness: the easily destroyable control room near the tank's rear. However, getting to that control room can be tricky.Normally (and such is the case for future Scarab battles), you would want to disable one of the Scarab's legs with sustained weapon fire (preferably either rockets or Ghost fire). This will cause the Scarab to drop to the ground, allowing you to board a loading dock on the back, and work your way to the control room. However, there's a much easier method to besting this first Scarab.Instead of fighting it directly, look for a lift at the base of the crane (along the wall). Interact with the switch to ride it up to the top of the crane. Walk to the far edge and sit tight - the Scarab will soon walk by and park itself right next to you, allowing you to simply jump on top of it, saving you tons of time and ammo. The scale won’t rise until the toy is removed. To move the toy, you’ll need to use the crane hanging from the ceiling. First, power up the crane by using the nearby lever. Then, move the crane along the tracks above (if you want to, you can use the crane on the Bunzo statue in Aisle C5). Position the crane directly over the toy on the scale.Once the crane is in place, charge your Green Hand and use it to lower the crane. Move the toy off the scale and then stand on the scale yourself. When you press the red button, the scale will raise you up to the ledge above.Before you leave, make sure to grab the Cyan VHS Tape from the ladder in Aisle C1, leaning against the wall.Raising Platform Power PuzzleContinue down the hallway until you reach a power puzzle. Once you’re there, plug into the first outlet and walk around the first pole. Next, stand on the platform that rises, and when you reach the top, step off. Unplug from the outlet, crouch, and then plug into the outlet again. Wrap around the pole on the ledge with you, then step off the ledge and back down. Next, wrap around the pole that controls the platform and plug into the second outlet to complete the circuit. Stand on the raised platform and press the red button to go up.Follow the path forward and climb the stairs. At the top, you’ll find a door blocked by a chair. Move the chair out of the way to open the door. Then, head back to the Game Station hub area.Go to Wack-A-Wuggy and Complete its Mini-GameGo back to the train platform where we pulled the lever to open the door to Musical Memory. Move over to the crane controls and activate the center button and then the left one to bring the crane over a crate. Activate the right switch to lower the crane. Reactivate the right switch again to lift up the container. Head down to where the container was and you'll get some iridium (+1,200 iridium) and the Medi-Gel Capacity upgrade hidden behind the container. Now activate the vehicle lift to continue. Raise the lift when you get to the bottom as underneath it there will be a med-kit and a PDA (+1,000 credits).Head to the door. Inside is another locker (+400 credits), a security log, and another power relay. Remember not to cross the beams. Cut the power, listen to the log, and grab the credits before moving on.In the next area there is an open door to the left with two guards inside the room.
