The lack of originality is evident from the opening animation, but in small doses, The Quest for Stuff can provide fans of Family Guy a welcome chuckle here and there, and that makes it worth the free download. Family Guy: The Quest for stuff is one of my favourite videogames ****'s funny,there are the best characters of the original TV series and one of the best location,with more epic missions. Very surprised with the low score on this game. Ok yes, they copied The Simpsons Tapped Out but there are so many games similar.The game itself is great with a vast amount of content and updates with loads of special characters and celebrities. Some characters are easy to get, others you have to pay for but that's how the company get money from a FREE game. Family Guy: The Quest for Stuffapes The Simpsons: Tapped Out without quite understanding why the latter has remained a hit. Some Family Guy fans may consider a temporary move to Quahog, but chances are good they'll go back home to Springfield before long. Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is a funny casual game, at least for a few minutes. Then it becomes an uninspiring, dull, linear, annoying freemium experience. Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff may appeal to fans of the show; it’s hard to say with certainty that if you like the show, you’ll like the game. A cynical imitation of an already dull game, we would rather download Windows updates than play Family Guy:

Guy the show; this wouldn't exist if the Simpson's didn't first. Well scripted and witty, but unjustifiably and shamelessly reliant on in-app purchases for any significant progression. A proper balance between effort and reward quickly appears to be lost on this game. Like Family guy is a poor mans Simpsons, The Quest for stuff is a poor mans Tapped out. It;s the usual grind of timer based missions, stuff you can buy for dollars and stuff you can buy for donuts, sorry Clams! Very uninspired, I gave it a fair chance, played for a bit and deleted it. The Quest for Stuff. Family Guy The Quest For Stuff isn’t even an original waste of space, making it one to steer well clear of that isn’t even worth your time. Reviews for this game seem unfairly negative, yes it's like Tapped Out but so what? That's the genre, like an FPS or sports game - there is no rule about only having one type of each game genre! Tapped Out wasn't the first city building/task grinding mobile game and it won't be the last. I have played both games and have to say I am bored with Simpsons Tapped Out and much prefer playing Family Guy now.Firstly - if you don't like Family Guy humour look elsewhere. If you like Family Guy then TinyCo have done a lot right here - characters and locations are accurately recreated, animations and character dialogue is entertaining and in-keeping with the humour of the show, and there is a lot to do and unlock.Secondly - if you want a game where you can sit and play for hours on end in one sitting go elsewhere, in fact don't look at any 'freemium' games of this type as you're missing the point. This game is designed to be played in short bursts throughout the day when you have a spare 5-10 minutes. It's also perfectly possible to play it for months on end without spending a penny if you don't want to, you just need patience and don't rush to build buildings that aren't required for the task at hand.It seems to me that Tapped Out has developed a rabid fan-base of fiercely loyal players that want to burn anything else in the same genre. It is a little different than the Mobile version, so I wanted to give a quick run down in the differences players on their desktops/PC’s/Windows Devices may notice.New players are now downloading the Windows Version of this silly lil game we have been enjoying and getting into the mix of things with the rest of us. Due to this Version is more used for Desktops/Laptops, there are some differences I wanted to point out as it is a Stand Alone Version of the game.CUSTOMER SUPPORTAccess to contacting TinyCo through this version is a little bit more limited then from the mobile version in the ways you can contact them. No worries, they actually have a specific team set up JUST for Windows issues to ensure players get the necessary assistance they need. So if you are in need of help/support for Windows and all Basic Troubleshooting has been tried (feel free to look around and ask here for help) then please reach out to TinyCo Windows Team via email at help.windows@tinyco.comGive them time to get back to you. (Standard turn around is 3 business days for most companies.)SAVING GAME PROGRESSCurrently, there is NOT an option for Windows Version to access accounts. This means saving game progress will not be the same, but more so… you will NOT be able to load up the Mobile Version of the game (if you have been playing on a device) to your Desktop/Laptop. The game basically gets stored on your device memory (similar to documents on other things, NOT on the Cloud). Just don’t go restarting your device in the middle of the game. That WILL cause you to lose progress.You will ONLY see two options when you play in the Menu (once past the initial dialog and to point Chris is helping hold the TV antennae). Settings and Inventory. Nothing more at this time.ADDING FRIENDSAs stated above, there is no option right now of syncing this game to Facebook. At that point, you REALLY want to have at least one 1h quest x2 license available. If you do not have one of those by then, fight, fight and fight until the god of lucky loots grants you one. If you remember Manager Nimrod from earlier, he also sells quest x2 licences that last for 24 hours for 5 nation tokens. So if you have managed to get some tokens from doing nation dungeons or opening nation dungeon boxes, that is a pretty nice way to spend 5 nation tokens.The reason you want to get to 125 + have some form of quest x2 license is because at level 125 you can go to a NPC called Tenshin in Australia who sets you onto a questchain that gives insane amount of exp. You want that exp and you want it to count, so double it up with a quest x2 license. If you have the gold/time needed to get some new mercenaries into your formation, before going to Tenshin is a good time to do so, as they will level quite a bit even if they are inactivated thanks to Tenshin and his generous quest experience.From time to time, Tenshin also rewards you with these orbs, which gives even more exp. What a nice guy!Hopefully you have gotten at least one 1h quest x2 license from a lucky loot that you’ve managed to hold on to until now. If you do, then try to set an hour aside for this.
