#1 Hi all,I would like some quick advice for my first ever VMB post. 2023 was my first year as a regular Vegas tripper and as a rated BJ player. I didn't really know what I was doing at first but ended the year by making Identity platinum and graduating to black chip play during my 4th Cosmo stay on the year. Current offers aren't spectacular (3 nights midweek) but I'm not chasing comps, I just don't want to leave any earned benefits on the table due to ignorance or poor comp strategy. That leads to my first trip of 2024.I'm attending a work conference at the Aria in Feb so I will be staying there but was planning to just walk across the bridge to the Cosmo to play when I have downtime. Until I started to wonder:Will this be viewed as no-play days by the Aria? I have an MGM Rewards card and I know the Identify merger will eventually go through so I don't want any dings on my combined account. I do also really enjoy playing at the Aria but I only had a handful of short sessions in 2023 and they've all been winners so I don't think they really view me as the best customer at the moment.Will playing at Cosmo as I intend to benefit me less because I'm not staying there? Obviously backend comps for the Aria are off the table but I already have another Cosmo trip booked for March so I was hoping that any big play might factor into some backend turned frontend comps for that upcoming trip (if that's even possible).Could this potentially hurt my status Cosmo?
