You'll be downloading them directly from the developers' sites, so no chance of malware.From there, the sites that the other folks mentioned are great repositories, but they can get overwhelming. Just avoid the 'free' sites that offer cracked or pirated versions of expensive VSTs as they often send an added gift and as often as not are broken in the cracking process. There have been a few threads on these forums dedicated to attempting to help folks who it turns out were attempting to use cracked versions of EWQL libraries, for instance.Also with free VSTs you do take the chance of getting sloppy coding that could crash Mixcraft. I remember trying a string library (DSK Strings??) which would allow only one instance in your project or crash.In addition to suggestions above, buying the full version of NI Kontakt will open up a universe of free and safe instrument libraries for you.
