Your problems with IE7 and RD Tabs may be related in that they are both symptoms of the same underlying cause.There are performance issues with Remote Desktop post-Vista SP1 and post-XP SP3. They are related to underlying changes in the Remote Desktop API which is out of my control and affects all RDP 6.1 based applications. Mainly the "slow downs" are only on the first connection as it is being established (about a 1-2 second pause) when there are no connections already established. If RD Tabs hangs where it completely freezes for over a minute, this is new to me and may be a bug. I haven't seen that in my tests, however, so I can't replicate it here.
