It, comment on it, and you can easily see the status of the item (just like the old Ideas site!). Upon item creation, an ADO item is created and sent directly to our engineering team. The Developer Community site also supports tagging in comment threads and private responses so you can keep track of a conversation and share important details with the SQL Tools team directly, without oversharing sensitive information. How do I use it? There are two ways to access the SSMS Developer Community site. The first is initiating a feedback request directly from within SSMS 21 (recommended), the second is to navigate to the SSMS Developer Community site: aka.ms/ssms-feedback. You can log bugs, suggest features, or view your past feedback items from within SSMS 21 by selecting Help > Send Feedback > Report a Problem/Suggest a Feature/My Feedback. Or, you can click the icon at the top right of SSMS. Clicking any of those will open a browser window where you will be asked to authenticate. If you have already added your Microsoft account to SSMS 21, you will be automatically authenticated! When you report a bug or issue you’ll need to provide a title (required) and detailed description (required). In the description, you now can upload images, attach files, and tag someone. Please keep these reports to a single issue. If you have multiple bugs to report, file them in separate reports. You also have the option of selecting the severity of the issue impacting you: “I’m unable to use this version,” “It’s more difficult to complete my work,” “It bothers me. A fix would be nice,” or “Other.” When submitting a feature request, you’ll need to provide a clear title (required) and a detailed description (required). Again, you’re able to attach images, files, and tag people. Please keep these submissions to a single idea as well – if you have multiple suggestions, submit them in multiple posts. Selecting My Feedback will take you to a view on the Developer Community site of your previously submitted bugs and feature requests. What about my old posts on the Ideas site? It is extremely important to our team that we retain the history of ideas, comments, and votes on previously submitted items. For those of who have been around for a while, we too remember Connect, and whatever was after that, and we know that this history is very important to the community. We are working to migrate those ideas to the new Developer Community site, votes and comments included, so they are available to interact within the new experience. Enjoy the preview, and please send us some feedback on the new site!. ssms tools pack ssms tools pack 2025 ssms tools pack 3.0 download ssms tools pack 4.0 license key ssms tools pack crack ssms tools pack download ssms tools pack free

Was released.I have tried to uninstall this SSMS version and install a previous one – 17.9.1 – to solve this issue, but by doing that, I got a ton of other problems with the based features of BizTalk Server like SSO and Runtime. So I decide to keep using SSMS 18.4.Trying to find the correct version of the SSMS may be an inglorious Task.I saw comments and suggestions to solve this issue that I would do in a BizTalk Server environment like:Installing SSIS on the BizTalk Server machine and re-run BizTalk configurationInstalling SSDT (SQL Server Data Tools) full ISO on the BizTalk Server machine and re-run BizTalk configurationor by installing the Client Tools SDK from SQL Server installation media on BizTalk machine and re-run BizTalk configuration – this was, in fact, a possible alternativeBut again, this issue is related without a doubt with problems related to assemblies reference mismatch.SolutionYou have several solutions on the table to solve this issue. I endup deciding that the simple and fast way was to do Assembly redirect at the machine level. To solve this problem by using Assembly Binding Redirection in the machine configuration file (Machine.config) you should change both:32-bit: c:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework[version]configmachine.config64-bit: c:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework64[version]configmachine.configAnd use the following configuration. Just to be on the safe side, you should add this configuration in both 32 and 64-bit in .NET Framework 2.0 and 4.0 machine configuration files. If you are not sure about what is the version of the DLL, you should find the DLL on this path:C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETassemblyGAC_MSILThe post BizTalk Server 2020 BAM Configuration: Could not load file or assembly Microsoft.SqlServer.SQLTask appeared first on SANDRO PEREIRA BIZTALK BLOG.. ssms tools pack ssms tools pack 2025 ssms tools pack 3.0 download ssms tools pack 4.0 license key ssms tools pack crack ssms tools pack download ssms tools pack free

ProblemMicrosoft released a major version upgrade to SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), version 20. What are the changes, and how does it impact users working with SQL Server? Let’s explore this in this article.SolutionSSMS v20 was released on March 19, 2024. It is a standalone client tool for Windows and Linux SQL Server instances that significantly enhances user experience and security for database professionals. You can download the SSMS v20 General Availability release (GA) from Microsoft Docs.Click on the downloaded SSMS-Setup-ENU.exe to install SSMS. The installation looks like previous SSMS versions except for one change. Previously, Azure Data Studio (ADS) was also installed with SSMS 18 and 19 installations. There was no GUI option to uncheck the ADS installation. The only option was to install SSMS with the command line using the flag DoNotInstallAzureDataStudio=1.SSMS-Setup-ENU.exe /Passive DoNotInstallAzureDataStudio=1However, many people did not want to install ADS or SSMS. Therefore, Microsoft removed the ADS installation with SSMS v20. You need to download and install Azure Data Studio separately if you require it.Note: SSMS 20 is a separate installation from SSMS 18 or 19. You can use both SSMS 19 and 20 on the same server.Let’s talk about the SSMS v20 changes.Version/Name ChangeAs shown below, previous versions are named Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio . However, the latest GA has been renamed SQL Server Management Studio 20.SSMS 20 components and versions are listed below.Security and Connection ChangesLook at the login and connection properties tabs below comparing SSMS 19 and 20.Changes from SSMS 19 to SSMS 20SSMS 19 and earlier versions have two checkboxes in the connection properties: Encrypt Connection and Trust Server Certificate.SSMS 20 removed the encryption options from the Connection Properties tab and added a Connection Security section on the Login tab.Additionally, SSMS 20 renames Encrypt Connection to Encryption. SSMS 20 includes three encryption values: Optional, Mandatory, and Strict. The Trust Server Certificate has also been moved from the Connection Properties tab to the Logins tab.Encryption Options in SSMS 20The SSMS 20 Encryption dropdown has three options:OptionalMandatoryStrictOptionalBy default, the SQL Server connection is not encrypted if you do not check the Encrypt Connection in SSMS
