Ducati Sign in to your TopSpeed account The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is arguably the fastest naked motorcycle on the market right now. It not only makes crazy numbers but comes laden with wings and top-shelf electronics to help you churn out every ounce of performance available. Even after all this, though, many still believe it’s simply not fast enough to keep up with a 1000cc faired sportbike. So we did some digging and came across a drag race between a Streetfighter V4 and a Honda CBR1000RR SP } that will help find out whether the aforementioned statement is true. The Contenders The first contender here is the Ducati Streetfighter V4. Based on the lauded Panigale V4, it employs a 1,103cc V4 engine pumping out 208 horsepower and 123Nm. Oh, and since there are no fairings, the Streetfighter weighs just 180kg (dry). Going against the V4 is a 2019 Honda CBR1000RR SP. In typical Japanese fashion, the CBR is a pure liter bike featuring a 999cc, inline-four engine which makes 190 horsepower and 114Nm. Meanwhile, the motorcycle tips the scale at 194kg (wet and ready to go). Ducati Streetfighter V4 vs Honda CBR1000RR - Drag Race Judging from the aforementioned bits, the ball is in the Streetfighter’s court. After all, it makes more power and torque while weighing slightly less than the CBR. But this isn’t the full story. Watch the video for more details: Top Speed Says As you can see, the CBR1000RR defeats the more powerful Streetfighter V4 in every drag race, and for good reason. You see, even though the Ducati makes more power, it has an ultra-punchy (almost abrupt) power delivery, which makes it hard to launch, thus not letting it put the power down efficiently. Meanwhile, the CBR is more linear, making life easier from a standstill. However, once the standing start is out of the picture, the Streetfighter’s punchy power delivery and impressive power-to-weight ratio work in its favor, as it outruns the CBR in every roll-on race. Credit here also goes to the punchy V4 configuration of the Ducati. All in all, this race once again proves that the Streetfighter V4 is a bonkers naked motorcycle and it can very well take on the top-spec liter-class bikes with ease. All it needs for that is an experienced rider or a roll-on race.Is Streetfighter 6 beginner friendly? : r/StreetFighter - Reddit
Street Fighter II: The World Warrior REVIEW: StreetFighter II: The World Warrior debuted in arcades in 1991. The title wasincredibly successful around the world, first becoming an arcade phenomenon andlater, a very successful console game played by millions. Street FighterII single-handedly sparked the competitive fighting game revolution in the early 90's, and is one ofthe most iconic video games of all time for that reason. Street Fighter II introduces a cast of8 unique fighters, each showcasing their own original fighting style, specialmoves, voice, and personality. After a player defeats all eight of the main fighters, theymove on to challenging the 4 boss characters in order: Balrog, Vega, Sagat, and M. Bison. After defeatingM. Bison, players are treated to a special ending movie, unique to eachcharacter. This basic formula would inspire countless other fighting gamesfor decades to come. You can't look at this selection screen and not hear the music. Street Fighter 2 even respected its own history byreintroducing several familiar faces from the original StreetFighter 1(1987). These martial artists were vividly fleshed out as designsand showed much more personality and life over their 1987 counterparts (which anyfan of the original Street Fighter could immediately notice).Character sprites were bigger, more colorful, and had much smoother animationover characters from many other video games at the time. SF2's impactful character animation is complimented by amazingly detailedhand-drawn backgrounds based on locations from around the world. These stageswere made complete, and unforgettable thanks to the extremely catchy theme songs...all of which were guaranteed to be stuck in your head afterplaying. That said, SF2's music and sound effects had an incredibly"addictive" element about it... it sounded (and played) like no othervideo game to date. Guile's original theme still goes with everything... and still gives me goose bumps. Iconic soundtrack. Perhaps the most important part about Street Fighter II was the fact thatit created the idea of a competitive 1-on-1 fighting game. This new arcadeculture had crowds of people waiting in line to play Street Fighter II,whether it was to play single-player or against other human opponents. Whilesome other video games at the time had no "skill ceiling"... it seemedlike there was no limit to how good of a SF2 player one could be, and with 8characters to master (soon to be 12), dedicated players were busy with the gamefor a long time. Worth mentioning, there were 8 selectable fighters... but more than 8ways to play the game. It was up to the player themselves to discover the bestway to play each of the characters. This game was pure crack in 1991. Btw, Winners don't use drugs. The fact that Capcom eventually released so many "versions" of StreetFighter 2 kept the series fresh and kept fans coming back to the arcades for more, anxious to spend their hard-earnedquarters and dollars (or money their parents gave them). Capcom knew exactly whatthey were doing, and they were smart to do it. Every year or so, there seemed to be another version of SF2 popping up in arcades (and later. The next big update for Forza Horizon 5 will arrive today, March 28, on Xbox and PC. Among the many new additions in the free update is new body kits. The new update adds 1 new body kit licensed from the famed Liberty Walk brand, 3 from StreetFighter LA and 25 Forza-branded (in-house made by developers Playground Games) rally body kits. The one new Liberty Walk kit is for an upcoming car, the Lexus LC 500, which will be earnable through the next Festival Playlist Series: Midnights (Series 19). The emphasis on rally body kits is to coincide with the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure expansion dropping later this week. Don’t expect much though, it’s just a few more generic parts rather than full body kits. Even though many peoplewould tell you the fighting genre wasn't anywhere close to "dead"before SF4, this one game definitely turned many heads from the "mainstream gaminguniverse" back in the direction of fightinggames. Even though it may not be the best Street Fighter game ever made,SF4 came through as the "next gen" Street Fighter gamethat everyone was waiting for, and it was a huge success. Besidesbeing 3D, Street Fighter IV takes the series in a whole new artistic direction...the new art style doesn't stray too far from previous installments, but isoriginal enough to give SF4
