Toll Collect collects the truck toll for all vehicles subject to tolls in Germany. Changes to the tariffs and the toll road network are implemented centrally in the toll collection service and are then automatically and uniformly available to all providers.

The road was privately financed, but it is not privately owned. The state of South Carolina Department of Transportation owns and maintains the Southern Connector. The tolls collected on the Connector will go to satisfy the bonds, which financed the road.
